How To Reach Ladakh By Air
One can take flights from New Delhi, Jammu, Srinagar or Chandigarh to the central airport area of Leh, LEH KUSHOK BAKULA RIMPOCHEE AIRPORT. This is the closest airport at Leh. Different flights fly to Ladakh during the peak season as well as the offseason.
Air India, Jet Airways, Go Air, Air Vistara are a few of the airlines that fly from Delhi to Leh. Since the airport is a military air terminal, security checks are more stringent than the current airports.

How To Reach Leh Ladakh By Train
One can go by train, and the closest railroad station is the Jammu Tawi which is 700 km from Ladakh, which is also associated with New Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai. One can enlist a taxi or board a JKSRTC to reach Ladakh from Jammu Tawi.
Pathankot and Chandigarh are the nearest railroad stations to Leh, which is almost a three-day transport ride away.
A taxi ride costs approx INR 9000 – INR 10000 FROM Jammu Tawi to Ladakh and it take around 2days travel.
Buses For Leh Ladakh Road Trip
A bus ride is always a bumpy ride. Ladakh is connected with Srinagar and Jammu by roads. There are two routes through which one can reach Ladakh.
One route is through Srinagar to Ladakh via the Zoji LA Pass, and the other way is through Manali to Ladakh via the Rohtang Pass.
Zoji LA Pass is usually open between June and October. Rohtang Pass is open between June and September. The HRTC and the JKSRTC give transport services, and it takes almost 4 days to reach Ladakh if one is planning to travel from New Delhi by bus.
